Finding a Job
Choosing a career can
be a difficult task that will sometimes take time, effort, and
exploration on the part of the individual. Exploring careers is a
great way to begin looking at your choices for college majors, and
for future plans and goals.
Choosing a career
is an area where you really need to know yourself!
- What are you good at?
- What do you like doing?
- What do you have experience
doing?
- Are you a "hands-on" OR
"hands-off" type of person?
- What makes you happy?
- What are your values?
These are all good
questions to ask yourself. If you aren't sure about the answers
to these questions, and want to find out more about your
personality and how it may affect your career choices, you should
