The mission
of the Elder High School Guidance Department is to follow the
teachings of Jesus Christ, Archbishop William Henry Elder, as well
as follow our school motto "Altiora" - to strive for the higher
things. Elder High School strives to prepare all students
academically, socially, and spiritually to contribute at the highest levels as
productive members of society, through a partnership of students,
educators, parents and guardians and the community responsible for
the learning process. |

Career Expo
-
Elder’s Guidance Department has developed a new career program,
"Career Expo", to help students investigate careers. The primary goal
of the program is to help students evaluate their interests, skills
and aptitudes when choosing a career. Listening to individuals speak
about their careers will allow students to gain specific career
information concerning various occupations.
