What is the difference between the SAT I and the ACT?


    Answer : The SAT I is more aptitude based and measures how learned knowledge is applied. The ACT is more content based and tests knowledge.

* no science section
* no trigonometry section
* vocabulary emphasized
* non-multiple choice questions
* guessing penalty
* no English grammar
* questions go from easy to hard

* science reasoning section
* math includes trigonometry
* vocabulary less important
* entirely multiple choice
* no penalty for guessing
* math counts for 25% of your score
